Ilocandia: Uno Grille and Chavit Singson’s Baluarte

Thank you for checking out my post. Please visit my new blog https://letsgoady.com/travel/. I am posting there every week about my recent travels and lifestyle. Thank you. XOXO -ady

We've left Manila to Vigan by 10pm. The trip is approximately 7 hours by land.   Honestly, the long ride is very excruciating even if we just slept all night during the trip.

We've passed through the Quirino Bridge, which was built to honor the late President Elpidio Quirino. It is actually an indication that we're already near the town of Vigan.

A few more minutes, we've reached the Calle Crisologo in Vigan. Since we are all starving from a long ride then we deserve to fulfill our hungry tummies! We've took our Breakfast in Uno Grille located at Bonifacio Street Cor. Quirino Blvd. Vigan City, Ilocos Sur which offers a relaxing garden ambiance to their customers.

I don't have the chance to get what's on their menu. We just tried their Silog's (Sinangag Rice and Egg) choices. Cris ordered the Ilocos Longsilog while I've tried their Tapsilog. Yummy! Sorry forgot how much this cost but I believe they are in reasonable price.

After a satisfying meal, Let’s Go ady and friends continued with their next stop: Chavit Singson’s Baluarte.

From Uno Grille to Chavit Singson Baluarte, the ride is just an approximately 5mins (3km) apart from each other. The Baluarte is an 80 hectares wildlife sanctuary, home for domestic animals and rare bird species. It opens its door to public daily from 7am – 6pm and the admission is FREE!

We don’t have the chance to go inside the Baluarte since the weather is not in favour with us. Instead we’ve just took the opportunity to have a pictorial with those rare birds and with Mr. Tiger on the Entrance.

Let's Go ady and friends then now proceed to its next stop: Burgos Museum and Vigan Jar Factory.
