Splash Island, Part 2: Attractions and What to See

Thank you for checking out my post. Please visit my new blog https://letsgoady.com/travel/. I am posting there every week about my recent travels and lifestyle. I also have recent posts regarding splash island - kindly check it out - https://letsgoady.com/2017/07/02/splash-island-waterpark-resort-near-metro/. Thank you. XOXO -ady

Magellan’s Drop (12:00pm - 1:30pm; 3:30pm - 4:30pm) is a slide which tube is just enough to accommodate your body.
At first you need to get your own flat mat and go upstairs. It’s actually scary cause you need to place your body in a plank position and your face facing the drop.

Taugus Trails (10:30am - 12:00pm; 2:30pm - 3:30pm) is a slide which inflatable rubber shaped like a number 8 and is good for 2 persons. It actually looks like your just seating in the inflatable with your butt in the hole and hands in the handrails. It is fun but also tiring since you need to bring this inflatable in a 4-storey building on your own.

Rio Montanosa (12:00pm - 1:30pm; 3:30pm - 4:30pm) I guess is the highest slide in the park since we climbed a bit higher compared to the other slide, but this time we haven’t bring any slide (as far as I remember). The inflatable is bigger this time it could actually accommodate at least 5 people in the raft. The feeling is less terrifying because you can all lay down there with ample space for yourself. J

Other Slides available but we haven’t tried:
Curl of the Orient (12:00pm - 2:00pm) – I guess this is best for the kids.
Big Bam Boo (10:30am - 12:00pm; 2:30pm - 3:30pm) never tried this because these need to have a proper outfit.

Other Attractions:
Wall Climbing – haven’t tried because I’m into water adventures that day.
Zip line in Agos Grande – not that exciting compared to other ziplines.

WHERE TO EAT:

Fiesta sa Pulo offers a variety of Filipino Food for their hungry visitors. Since bringing foods and drinks are not allowed then there’s really no option but to buy on their restaurants and food courts.

I’ve mention earlier that the entrance fee comes with a free lunch (not a buffet). For this we got a Karekare (peanut sauce with mixed sauce and stewed oxtail) and Rice Meal and Pork Barbeque with Rice meal. Somehow fills in our tummy but not that satisfying because we are really starving from the activities we’ve done. J

The resort also offers Cabanas which are place all over the place. This ranges from Tents with Tables and Chair charge for Free and Cabanas that varies from different sizes and amenities and of course with corresponding amount.

The shower for me is not that comfy because there is just a common shower for all their guest and a bit crowded that time.

After trying all their slides, food trips and endless laugh we then decided to pick up our things from the locker and started our journey going back home.
