Let’s Go Ady and friends then proceed to Crisologo Museum. It will only take about 3mins (1km) ride from the
Jar Factory to the museum.
The Crisologo Museum is a preserved ancestral house of statesman
Floro S. Crisologo. The museum is located on De Los Reyes Street in Vigan, the
street after Crisologo Street coming from the Vigan Cathedral. It
is open from Monday to Saturday (9:00am – 5:00pm).
Upon entering the museum, there were a lot of workers and
other tourist roaming around. The first thing that I’ve noticed is collections of different hats around Asia especially the hat from Batanes. It
actually looks like a soft broom and a wig at the same time! :)
And looked what I've found, some interesting old appliances
that were typically used that time. Are you familiar with Wooden Refrigerator?
How about a hanging refrigerator for left over? And lastly, an iron device whose
heat was produced by a burning charcoal? Well, I've actually saw this iron
using charcoal from my Grandma’s place in the province before.
There were also a variety of modes of transportation on the
museum. This varies from horse drawn carriage or Calesa to mechanical car.
There is also a part of the museum which likely his former
office and now turns to be a memorabilia with a specific focus of items
relating to his death.
