Balwarte, a Pier outside Baclayon Church

After visiting the Baclayon Church, you might want to unwind a little and breathe some fresh air. Well, you don’t need to go afar; cause across the church is a little park/pier known as BALWARTE. The pier offers a great sea side view. It is actually an old wharf where you can see few Bangkas or Boat.

adieTips4: Enjoy Little Things. These things are usually for free. I believe this simple thing can make your trip unforgettable.

According to Kuya Nilo, the park becomes popular when an Actor/Director Cesar Montano proposed to his showbiz wife Sunshine Cruz.

Well it is indeed a good place to propose since the park offers a romantic and solemn ambiance.
