Along the way going to our next destination, our van driver
told us that they have a regulation in Bohol that when you want to cut some
trees you need to ask for a permission or raise a request to the municipality
that you do need so even if these trees are just at the vicinity of your home.
I’m not really sure if they really follow it. But this
permission is not valid on the MAN MADE
FOREST. He also said that the forest is an initiative of the local government.
Yah, I really noticed along the way that there are still a lot of untouched trees there. I hope they continue it that way.
The forest is consists of seemingly straight trees that are
adjacent to each other. There is no sanctuary or a place where you’ll pay for
some amount of entrance fee. The place is actually situated along the main road.
Along the road, are some hardworking vendors that offer some
items on their few visitors. It is actually fun taking some pictures along the
road, but watch out, there are a lot of vehicles passing by. So take picture on
your own risks.
After some numerous try out, at last I’ve already got a cool
shot! Don’t worry the car on my back already passed before we took the shot.
We actually don’t stay here that long, since the road is not
a safe place to roam around.
